This iconic Hello Kitty bullet train to Puroland is sunsetting in 3 weeks !

 Since 2018 global Hello Kitty & friends fans have seethed in jealousy about the the Shinkansen bullet train that took you right to Puroland is going back to just being a train. It’ll still bring you to Puroland but it won’t be hello kitty themed. 

BUT for those in Japan or those fortunate to have travel plans in the next couple weeks can still experience it. 

MAY 17th 2026 the train takes its last ride to sanrioland. 

It’s so iconic with it “stained glass” hello Kitty and friends ceiling, themed train cars, onboard exclusive goodie shop, cute illustrated ticked and so many more cute details. It’s a real shame.
